2019 U18 National Championships at Chaska

(STEVENS POINT, Wis.) – The six-sheet Chaska Curling Center will host the 2019 USA Curling U18 National Championships next March.

The U18 Nationals are USA Curling’s newest national championship and have been contested twice prior. The 2019 event will take place March 12-17.

“We’re thrilled to bring another high-profile event to the Chaska Curling Center. One of our goals is to grow our youth programs, and hosting the U18 National Championships is a great way to showcase the talent of younger curlers to our curling community,” said Jeff Isaacson, Chaska Curling Center Manager. “Hopefully, we can continue building upon the recent success of USA Curling athletes.”

The U18 Nationals, for athletes age 18 and under, feature 24 teams competing in round robin competition followed by a playoff round. The winning boys and girls teams then represent the U.S. at the U18 Players Championship in Canada. The 2018 event took place in Bemidji, Minn., in February with teams from the host Bemidji Curling Club taking home the national titles.
