JUNIOR CURLING

Junior Curling introduces youth ages 8 – 18 to the sport of curling.  The curling slide, rock delivery, and sweeping technique are practiced in drills as well as in games!  Wear loose fitting clothing and a clean pair of gym shoes – we provide all curling equipment.  

Winter 1 Junior Curling

Time: Saturdays 10am to 12pm

Winter 2 Junior Curling

Times: Saturdays 10 am to 12pm

 

 

A Chaska Curling Center membership is required for all junior curling participants.

Junior Bonspiels/Tournaments

Bonspiel dates will be added in the fall.

Curling Canada produced cool videos to help with some of the basics of curling. Have your junior curler check these out. They are a great refresher and reminder of some of the key points of curling.

CHASKA JUNIORS MEDAL AT U18 CHAMPIONSHIPS. 

The 2023 United States Under 18 Championships, which were held at the Rock Creek Curling Club in Lafayette, CO, were a big success for Chaska junior curlers. Teams  Ryhorchuk and Guentzel both had fantastic showings, with Team Ryhorchuk winning the gold medal on the girl’s side, and Team Guentzel winning the bronze on the boy’s side.   

Curling is now a high school club sport in ISD112!
