The Curling Center has many part-time positions. You are encouraged to inquire or drop off an application, even if positions are not currently posted. We are always looking to expand our instructor, office, and ice crews. Employee demand changes based on the spring, summer, or winter season.
Welcome customers to our facility in person, by phone and email.
The guest service representative will serve as the point of contact for guests of the building and customers using our facilities. This position will help provide customer service at the window, over the phone, and through email. The office staff will help monitor activity in the curling arena, the Event Center, and building and assist with general cleaning and custodial needs. Ice resurfacing (pebbling/cleaning) for league or general play may be necessary. Knowledge of curling and Curling Center operations strongly encouraged. Training provided. Learn more.
Teach rental groups and learn to curl classes.
Curling instructors are responsible for teaching rental groups and learn to curl classes. Guests are taught basic curling knowledge including delivery and sweeping techniques, curling etiquette, basic strategy/game play, and rules. Instructors work to provide a safe and fun curling experience for all ages and abilities. Curling experience required and training is provided. Learn more.
Prepare high-quality curling ice and maintain a clean facility.
Assistant ice makers work closely with the Head Ice Maker to prepare high-quality curling ice and keep the Curling Center in a quality and clean manner. As the National Training Center for USA Curling, home to year-round league play and around 1000 members, host of national championships, a destination to over 300 corporate groups per year, and home to a thriving junior and new and upcoming high school program- you can quickly see our ice is in high demand!
